Measuring the success of a fundraising consultation firm, at a bare minimum, can be defined with a spreadsheet and a quick look at the dollars on the bottom line. But when Frogman Interactive formed a partnership with Capital Development Services, we quickly knew that this would be a shallow approach that would fail to show the bigger picture success stories generated by a company with a quarter century of accomplished achievements. So we broadened the focus from a new Web site to a new corporate identity for CapDev.

25 years of success can be accompanied by inadvertent stagnation. While CapDev had provided the campaign and development services needed to bring some wonderful nonprofit mission statements to life, they had not reflected their growth and expertise through their brand positioning. They welcomed an opportunity for Frogman to redefine their corporate identity, starting with an exploration of their core values and existing market positioning. Their new logo mark and some core graphic standards soon followed, and CapDev had quickly begun embracing a graphic identity that reflected the company's service diversity and high level of professionalism.

Then we called on the real subject matter experts to help form the right online narrative: their clients. Using our in-house capabilities to produce high-definition video content, Frogman produced testimonials for CapDev that were seamlessly integrated into a new Web site design strategically restructured to create a more intuitive user experience. And of course, we had a good time applying an interface design that showcased their new look and feel.
