I had never heard the term ‘computer illegitimate' until I met Pete Pyles, but I understood his position on technology nevertheless. He knew that Country Comfort Homes needed to better utilize the Web to promote his business and generate new client leads - he just didn't know where to start. And so was born another partnership that truly allowed Frogman Interactive to dive deep on behalf of a key client.
Pete Pyles
Owner
Upon having breakfast with Pete, it became abundantly clear that in his career he had accumulated a wealth of knowledge about the diverse range of products available in the log home industry. And it was further obvious that he was determined to provide the best products available - period. It also helped that Pete had a definitive vision of the projects that he most wanted to target for the next decade. What he needed was a new Web site with immersive interactive contents to showcase his custom log and hybrid home construction, and a few new tools that would allow him to develop inbound marketing channels. One new Twitter account, a YouTube channel, and an email marketing strategy later, Pete was on his way to legitimacy.
Creating iTours of three of his finer homes was the first step in building his online portfolio. Combining 3D floor plans with 360º virtual tours quickly provided users with a richer online experience for taking remote tours of these spectacular log homes, showcasing the fine details and craftsmanship that differentiate Country Comfort Homes from the competition. But there was still a story to tell, so we sat down with Pete and his wife Jackie in their Sparta, NC home. With the cameras rolling, they conveyed their passion for not only creating great products, but for providing a construction experience to homeowners that was not only tolerable, but enjoyable. And just to make sure he was telling the truth - we captured video testimonials from his clients too!
